WWE veteran mocks Dakota Kai's return; claims fans have been "waiting for months and months" (Exclusive)

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo reviewed this week's episode of Monday Night RAW. He spoke about one specific angle, where Damage CTRL was reunited with their long-time member Dakota Kai.

Kai was out of action for the last three months. The star showed up this week on the red brand to help her team exact revenge on Pure Fusion Collective in a six-woman tag team match. Dakota's presence proved to be a major factor as Damage CTRL won the match after IYO SKY hit an Over the Moonsault on Shayna Baszler for the win.

This week on Legion of RAW, Vince Russo sarcastically remarked that Kai's return was a huge moment on RAW. The veteran writer exaggerated his excitement, highlighting the lack of significance of her return. He even joked about how WWE fans had been "waiting for months and months" for her comeback.

"The huge return of Dakota Kai! We've been waiting for months and months and months. There was backstage. Backstage, we had Damage CTRL, and they joined for the big reunion. I jumped out of my seat. I was dancing around the living room." [From 8:45 onwards]

IYO SKY is already gunning for Liv Morgan and the Women's World Championship.

With Dakota Kai strengthening the ranks of the faction, it will be interesting to see what Damage CTRL is truly capable of in the coming weeks in WWE.
