WWE veteran on one thing John Cena did that Brock Lesnar wouldn't do (Exclusive)
Brock Lesnar and John Cena have been two of WWE's most successful superstars over the last 22 years. Dutch Mantell, formerly known as Zeb Colter in WWE, believes Cena is willing to give more back to the industry than his fellow veteran.
In 2023, Cena lost to Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39 before suffering another defeat against Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel later in the year. Lesnar has also lost high-profile matches in recent years, but his defeats usually come against more established names like Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.
Mantell said on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, that Lesnar would probably not have agreed to lose the same matches that Cena had.
"Would Brock go out there and do it? I doubt it 'cause he don't have to do it, first off, but would he do it? But I think John would, for the sake of the business, and that's what I like about him," said Mantell. [11:51 – 12:04]

Why Dutch Mantell thinks John Cena is unselfish
Earlier in his career, John Cena was sometimes criticized for winning too many matches against up-and-coming superstars. Nowadays, he seemingly has no problem with losing to the next generation of WWE talents when the time is right.
Dutch Mantell believes Cena has become unselfish because he had achieved a lot in the company, without being the best wrestler out there, and he understood the importance of helping younger performers get over because the same had also been done for him during his storied career.
"He didn't get over by himself. He got over with a lot of guys putting him there, and a lot of creative doing these really good things with him, keeping him on top, keeping him the center of attention. And let's face it, he's not the greatest wrestler in the world, but still they got him over, people love him, and sold a lot of merchandise." [12:05 – 12:30]
Mantell also spoke about a possible 2025 storyline involving Cena that would "set the world on fire."
