WWE veteran predicts shocking finish to the CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood
WWE Superstars Drew McIntyre and CM Punk will face each other for the third time in a brutal Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood. Wrestling veteran Bully Ray recently expressed his desire to see a shocking ending to the upcoming match between The Scottish Warrior and The Best in the World on October 5, 2024.
McIntyre's victory over his rival at WWE SummerSlam 2024 marked a turning point in their intense feud. Punk followed suit with a decisive win at Bash in Berlin, seemingly settling the score. But the Scottish star had other plans. In a shocking act of defiance, he shattered The Second City Saint's cherished bracelet and brutally attacked him, escalating their rivalry to unprecedented heights.
On a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray envisioned a scenario where CM Punk stood triumphantly atop the giant steel structure, overlooking a bloodied and beaten Drew McIntyre who is being stretchered out of the ring.
"I don't want to see these guys go out of the cell, but for some reason, I love the idea of going off the air with Punk standing on top of the cell, looking down on a completely bloodied Drew McIntyre having to be stretchered out," Ray said. (From 27:12 to 27:35)
To add a comedic twist, the WWE Hall of Famer suggested that The Voice of the Voiceless could accidentally slip on a banana peel and get pinned, leading to a surprising outcome.

Drew McIntyre is set to return on next week's WWE RAW ahead of Bad Blood
On the September 16, 2024, episode of RAW, CM Punk made an on-screen appearance and addressed the crowd. The Voice of the Voiceless revealed that his wife, AJ Lee, and his sister had urged him against participating in the Hell in a Cell match. Despite their concerns, the former WWE World Champion vowed to make Drew McIntyre bleed at the upcoming PLE.
Meanwhile, The Scottish Warrior did not make it to this week's red brand. As announced by WWE, McIntyre will make his return on the September 23, 2024 installment of Monday Night RAW ahead of his match against Punk at Bad Blood.
