WWE veteran's return to the promotion sparks a two-word reaction from Nic Nemeth (fka Dolph Ziggler)
A wrestling veteran recently returned to WWE, performing in a match on NXT. This prompted Dolph Ziggler to react on social media.
The veteran, Nunzio, has also been known by the names Little Guido and Damien Stone. Having been in the wrestling business since the early 1990s, he has racked up quite a lot of experience under his belt. Apart from working in WWE, he has also worked in other promotions and was a member of the ECW roster. Understandably, his return to the NXT-ECW show caused quite a buzz from fans.
Nic Nemeth (fka Dolph Ziggler) also posted a short reaction to the moment on X/Twitter.
"LFG ECW," wrote Nic Nemeth.
The former WWE star has previously praised Jon Moxley as well
Nic holds Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose) in very high regard, owing to the work he has put in for AEW.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Nic Nemeth explained that Moxley was the undeniable MVP of Tony Khan's company. He said:
"They could be alluding to somebody 'higher power' or something, but I really think it's just we're getting a reset," he opined. "Absolute MVP of AEW since they started is Moxley. They go back to him — when in doubt, go back to him."
He further talked about how fans also liked Moxley, even when he was a heel.
"There's a reason it's hard to boo Jon Moxley, even if he's playing a heel or an extra-vicious heel, because behind the scenes, you know what he's done for the company," Nemeth pointed out.
Moxley is currently heading a new version of the BCC as the Death Riders. It remains to be seen how his storyline in AEW pans out and what he plans to do next.
