WWE veteran sends a spooky message to Rhea Ripley
Rhea Ripley had a fabulous year in WWE as Mami remained on the top for the most part before her hiatus earlier this year due to injury. Today, the star celebrated her 28th birthday and received a spooky message from The Boogeyman.
The latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown was filled with surprises. From Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso's return to The Boogeyman's backstage appearance, the blue brand was filled with segments and matches, building stories for the final months of 2024. Ripley also appeared on the show, attacking Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. The Eradicator also booted Nia Jax in the face.
Today, Rhea Ripley celebrated her 28th birthday, and Mami received wishes from several notable names in the industry. Wrestling veteran The Boogeyman sent a spooky message to the former Women's World Champion in his signature fashion following WWE SmackDown.
"CMIN2GETCHA 🔥HAPPY BIRTHDAY RHEA," Boogeyman wrote.
The veteran was seen backstage interacting with superstars, and a few fans also spotted him after the show. The Boogeyman has made several sporadic appearances in the Stamford-based promotion. However, it's yet to be seen when he gets inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Rhea Ripley might not compete at WWE Crown Jewel 2024
Earlier this year, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan's heated feud picked up when Morgan's actions put Ripley out for months, and Mami had to vacate the title. Upon her return to Monday Night RAW, the 28-year-old star noted changes within The Judgment Day.
Later, it was revealed that Liv Morgan got her and Damian Priest kicked out and made her own place in the villainous faction alongside Carlito. The feud continued in the coming months when Mami won over Morgan in a Mixed Tag Team Champion but failed to win the title twice due to outside interference.
Management announced that WWE Crown Jewel 2024 will be different. Champions of both brands will collide in a match to become Crown Jewel Champions. This means world title matches are off-limits, and Rhea Ripley won't compete for the title.
Mami could possibly have another match in Saudi Arabia. However, given the five matches per card rule under Triple H's regime, it's unlikely. It'll be interesting to see what Ripley does next after Raquel Rodriguez's return to the Stamford-based company.
