WWE women were not ready for WarGames match, wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell makes shocking revelation (Exclusive)
Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell recently discussed how the Women's WarGames match paled in comparison to the Men's WarGames match at Survivor Series. The top stars of the company were in action last week during the premium live event.
This year at WWE Survivor Series, the team of Rhea Ripley, Naomi, Bianca Belair, IYO SKY, and Bayley took on Liv Morgan, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, Raquel Rodriguez, and Candice LeRae during the Women's WarGames match. The babyfaces went on to win the encounter after Ripley planted Liv with the Riptide off the top rope.
On a special episode of Smack Talk, Mantell detailed that the women were possibly not ready to go through with the WarGames match. He explained that the girls' inexperience was exposed during the show and they couldn't follow up on the storylines leading into the huge encounter.
"First of all, I don't think those girls were ready for that match. I think they're by and large, inexperienced in that type of match. That's an advanced match to go into. They probably spent two weeks on this match trying to sort it out, get the right spots and right matchups. But still, they're inexperienced. You can't learn it in two weeks." [From 6:40 onwards]
With WarGames done and dusted, the women of WWE have moved back to their own storylines. Liv and Rhea are still at odds with each other while Bianca Belair is working to figure out who attacked Jade Cargill. Tiffany Stratton, this week, won a Triple Threat match to advance to the semi-finals of the Women's United States Championship tournament.
