WWE World Champion Gunther breaks character in front of Cody Rhodes; addresses blockbuster title match at Crown Jewel [WATCH]

World Heavyweight Champion Gunther has been at the peak of his career so far with his incredible in-ring skills and consistent character work. However, in a rare sighting, The Ring General was seen breaking character while addressing his upcoming match at Crown Jewel.

At a recent WWE Live Event in Manchester, Cody Rhodes made an appearance and welcomed the Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion, Tom Aspinall. The World Heavyweight Champion also made an appearance and congratulated the latter on his incredible success.

Not only that, but The Ring General also acknolwedged that the top three champions of TKO were present together and asked for a picture of all three. Further, addressing his upcoming match against Cody Rhodes, Gunther claimed that "May the best man win," breaking character in a surprising fashion.

"First of all, from one heavyweight champion to another, it’s my pleasure to meet you and congratulations on all your success. Cody, since now, all three of the top TKO champions in the ring, we can take a picture together. And before anybody feels I got bad manners, Cody, at Crown Jewel, may the better man win," said the World Heavyweight Champion.

Gunther has his eyes set on the Crown Jewel Championship

The World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes are set to collide in a massive history making match at Crown Jewel. As announced by Triple H at Bad Blood, the winner of the match would be named the Crown Jewel Champion.

Both Gunther and Rhodes came face-to-face this week on WWE RAW, engaging in a massive war of words, claiming to beat their opponent at Crown Jewel. While a number of options are available for WWE, it is hard to predict who will take the big loss. Fans will have to wait and see what WWE has in store for both the world champions at Crown Jewel in Riyadh.
