Wyatt Sicks fails where The Undertaker succeeded in WWE, says veteran (Exclusive)
WWE legend The Undertaker's supernatural gimmick has often been compared to other similar gimmicks over the years, most recently with The Wyatt Sicks. Veteran journalist Bill Apter talked about why he found The Deadman's character more believable than the faction.
There are a significant number of parallels between the two spooky presentation styles. However, The Wyatt Sicks has arguably pushed the envelope a little more, leaning heavily into the supernatural factor. According to Bill Apter, this, along with how the group has been booked in WWE, makes it too much of a gimmick to be believable.
Speaking on Sportskeede's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, the veteran journalist stated:
"Undertaker was one person. One character. So this is built around one character. The Wyatt Sicks are the Wyatt Sicks. It seems that the situations that they are geting put into in the middle of shows or at the end of the shows just don't leave a great taste in my mouth because it's too shticky. I found The Undertaker more believable... If they did this once a year as a tribute to Bray Wyatt, I think it's gonna be great." [3:10 onwards]

The veteran believes Wyatt Sicks is trying to recruit another WWE star
According to Bill Apter, the faction's feud with Chad Gable is a disguised attempt to add the WWE star to their ranks.
Speaking on an episode of Sportskeeda's UnSKripted, the veteran journalist shared his thoughts on how The Wyatt Sicks had blurred the line between being a heel and a babyface. He also talked about The Alpha Academy being at odds with the supernatural faction.
"I think what's going to happen is that they are going to lure Chad Gable into their group, and that group is going to feud with whatever is the surviving members of the Alpha Academy. So you are gonna have the Alpha Academy as the babyfaces supposedly, but then again the fans are going crazy about the Wyatt Family. They kind of look at them as babyface heels." [11:20 onwards]
As of now, it remains to be seen what is next for the group in WWE.
