Xavier Woods explains heel turn tease on WWE RAW; proclaims love for fellow star
Xavier Woods attempted to explain his heel turn tease today on social media and proclaimed his love for a popular WWE star. The New Day defeated The Authors of Pain this past Monday night on the red brand to advance to the finals of the tournament to determine The Judgment Day's next challengers for the World Tag Team Championship.
R-Truth attacked The Miz during The New Day's match against The Authors of Pain on RAW. Woods and Kofi Kingston capitalized on the distraction to pick up the victory and advance to the finals of the tournament. After the match, The Final Testament attacked R-Truth, and Kofi Kingston wanted to help.
However, Woods held his stablemate back until The Wyatt Sicks eventually showed up to attack The Final Testament. Woods explained his actions in a video earlier today, and R-Truth took to social media to react with a hilarious GIF of Kevin Hart.
The New Day star responded to R-Truth and noted that he loved him but claimed that the veteran did not have a plan when getting involved in their match on WWE RAW.
"I love you man, but there was no plan. We have to focus on what we came here to do. No disrespect," said Woods.
Former WWE writer claims Xavier Woods' faction should be broken up
Vince Russo recently claimed that The New Day (Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston) was finished, and it was time to break them up on WWE television.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's Writing with Russo show, the veteran stated that the faction should have been separated several months ago. Russo added that the group had a great run and made a bunch of money, but it was time to move on.
"Bro, put a bullet in New Day. I said that six months ago. Put a bullet in New Day. New Day's over. They're done. They've had their run. They made their money. It's over. Put a bullet in New Day." [13:19 – 13:32]

Bayley also responded to Xavier Woods and shared that he was one of her favorite wrestlers today on social media. Xavier Woods reacted to the message and claimed Bayley was the foundation for an entire era of WWE Superstars.
