Xavier Woods shares a message ahead of major title match on WWE RAW
Xavier Woods is set to compete for a major title on WWE RAW this week. This could turn his fortunes around after how the last few months have been for him.
Xavier Woods hasn't had the best of luck since he feuded with The Final Testament. After Karrion Kross tried to drive a wedge between Woods and Kofi Kingston, New Day has not been the same. In recent weeks, Woods has seemingly not been on the same page with his New Day stablemate. Woods even lost his temper at Kofi after they failed to regain the tag team titles from Judgment Day on the September 16 edition of WWE RAW.
However, his things are finally looking up for him after Kofi Kingston got Woods an Intercontinental Championship match against Jey Uso this week on RAW. Ahead of this title match, Woods met up with popular YouTuber Chris Danger at his home to have a homecooked meal. He even expressed his gratitude for the meal on social media.
"Tomorrow, I have a chance to win the Intercontinental Title. So I'm thankful to get a home cooked meal tonight."

Teddy Long gives his honest thoughts on Xavier Woods
Xavier Woods has been with the WWE since 2010 and has spent most of his time in the company as part of The New Day. During this time, Woods has established himself as a tag team legend in the company and has won numerous tag titles. However, he hasn't been himself in recent weeks.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine with Mac Davis, Teddy Long said that Woods needs to slow down a bit and relax.
"Xavier, great guy, really like him," Long said. "I think he just needs to slow down just a little bit. He kinda oversells a little bit, for me, you know what I mean? But relax, Xavier, it's gonna be all right, playa. But, other than that, two great, outstanding people, man, Xavier and Kofi [Kingston]." [3:37 – 3:58]
It will be interesting to see if Xavier Woods will be able to win the Intercontinental Championship against Jey Uso this Monday on WWE RAW.
