Xavier Woods takes shot at WWE fans following recent heel turn
Xavier Woods took a shot at WWE fans today on social media after they loudly booed The New Day this past Monday night on RAW. The former champions recently turned heel but seemingly do not want to take responsibility for their actions.
The faction celebrated its tenth anniversary as a tag team on the December 2 edition of the red brand. Big E interrupted and offered to manage the duo, as they had been struggling lately. Woods and Kingston claimed E left them behind after suffering a broken neck in 2022 and told him to go back to his desk job.
The WWE Universe booed Kingston and Woods out of the building this past Monday on RAW. Xavier Woods responded to fans' negative reaction on social media today and claimed they were being emotional.
"People are quick to forget my 10 years (3,650 days) of dedication, loyalty, and entertaining their children now that I FINALLY wanna focus on my personal goals. Got it. E-MO-TION-AL," he wrote.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods appeared to be on the verge of splitting up as a faction when Big E tried to save the day. However, they have seemingly now blamed E for all of their struggles and are back on the same page once again.
Bill Apter reacts to The New Day getting booed on WWE RAW
Wrestling veteran Bill Apter recently commented on the fans booing The New Day on this past Monday's episode of WWE RAW.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted show, Apter praised the storyline and noted that the faction was invigorated. The legend added that the fans treated the group like Dominik Mysterio.
"I am so happy that The New Day is showing signs of new... they're invigorated. This new part of The New Day, I didn't know how they were gonna... I didn't know how they were gonna follow up in this whole thing with them backstage at Monday Night RAW trying to 'Hey guys, how're you doing' and everybody shutting them and all that. Then they get in the ring, and they got the Dominik Mysterio treatment. They are being booed out of the place. They are just walking out of the ring. I love what's going on with them right now," Apter said. [From 03:38 onwards]
