The New Day turned heel earlier this month on RAW by scolding Big E when he offered to be their manager. The former WWE Champion suffered a broken neck in 2022 and wanted to be present every week to help his faction get along. However, Woods and Kingston wanted nothing to do with him and united over their decision to leave Big E behind. The fans mercilessly booed The New Day this past Monday night on RAW during their promo.
Bill Apter reacts to The New Day getting booed on WWE RAW
Wrestling veteran Bill Apter recently shared his thoughts on The New Day getting booed this past Monday night on WWE RAW.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted show, Apter praised Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods' heel turn. He noted that the storyline has given the faction new life, and they are now being booed like The Judgment Day's Dominik Mysterio:
"I am so happy that the New Day is showing signs of new... they're invigorated. This new part of the New Day, I didn't know how they were gonna... I didn't know how they were gonna follow up in this whole thing with them backstage at Monday Night RAW trying to 'Hey guys, how're you doing' and everybody shutting them and all that. Then they get in the ring, and they got the Dominik Mysterio treatment. They are being booed out of the place. They are just walking out of the ring. I love what's going on with them right now," Apter said. [3:38 onwards]
