"Yeah, Tribal Chief" - Former WWE star who had his last match 3,830 days ago discusses major victory over Roman Reigns

A former WWE star recently discussed his win over Roman Reigns when they were both starting out with the company. Ricardo Rodriguez, who last wrestled in WWE 3,830 days ago, was victorious over The OTC during their time at Florida Championship Wrestling.

Before Reigns became who he is today, he was called Roman Leakee in FCW. He had a different gimmick and wore wrestling trunks. He had a feud with Rodriguez, who didn't get a win in any of their singles matches. However, he did earn a victory as part of a six-man tag team match with Big E and Rick Victor against Roman, Percy Watson, and Abraham Washington.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Rodriguez was asked about his infamous win over The OTC. He couldn't remember the exact bout but knew that it was a multi-person tag team match.

"I think it was in December of 2010. I think December when I finally got my first match in FCW, and it was a 10-man tag. I don't remember exactly who was all in it, but I do believe Husky Harris/Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns were in it. I think we won that match. I don't remember, but somebody had tweeted to me the other day that I had a victory over Roman. I was like, 'No, I didn’t.' And they mentioned that, so I don’t know. I don't remember what the result of that was. Yeah, Tribal Chief, I'm kidding," Rodriguez said. [H/T: Chrisvanvliet.com]

His last match with the company was at NXT TakeOver 2014. He was wrestling under his El Local character and teamed up with Kalisto, losing to The Ascension.

On the other hand, Roman Reigns would go on to join the main roster as part of The Shield with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose (aka Jon Moxley). Reigns became the face of the WWE after John Cena left for Hollywood.
