"You’re a psycho for this" - WWE champion sends heartfelt message to Baron Corbin after his exit from the company

Baron Corbin has left WWE ahead of the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event. Following his departure from the company, one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions, Nathan Frazer, sent a heartfelt message to the 40-year-old veteran.

The Lone Wolf joined the Sports Entertainment Giant in 2012. During his 12-year tenure, Corbin captured the United States Championship once and the NXT Tag Team Championship once with Bron Breakker, before losing the titles to Nathan Frazer and Axiom in April 2024.

The 40-year-old veteran also achieved several other notable accomplishments, including winning the King of the Ring, Men's Money in the Bank, Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and Men's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

Before the Crown Jewel PLE in Saudi Arabia, Baron Corbin announced his exit from WWE. On X/Twitter, the reigning NXT Tag Team Champion posted a photo from their Stand & Deliver PLE match, accompanied by a heartfelt message for The Lone Wolf.

Nathan Frazer shared that it was a pleasure to share the ring with the former United States Champion, and acknowledged their intense NXT rivalry as a historic chapter in the brand's history.

"It was a pleasure getting in the ring with you. The Fraxiom vs. Wolf Dogs trilogy go down in NXT history. Also, you’re a psycho for this," he wrote.

WWE veteran discusses Baron Corbin's departure

Pro wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell opened up about the former US Champion leaving the Stamford-based promotion. The former WWE manager was pleased that Baron Corbin had left the company.

On an edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell criticized WWE's handling of Baron Corbin. He stated that the company failed to revitalize his character, leading to audience disinterest and a prolonged, lackluster run.

"That's a long time to hit and miss with the guy. And he got 12 years out of it. So, he filled in employment for 12 years. I'm glad for him. I'd hate anybody to lose their job. But after a while, if it becomes boring for people to watch them, it's time to change," he said.
