"You're a sneaky snake" - Bayley goes off on a vicious rant against popular WWE star
WWE Women's Champion Bayley has a message for Chelsea Green. The star made her way into the 2024 Money in the Bank Ladder Match this week on SmackDown.
Green faced Bianca Belair and Michin in a Money in the Bank Triple Threat qualifying match. She took advantage of the rules and threw Belair out of the ring after The EST hit a KOD on Michin. The 33-year-old then pinned The O.C. member for the win.
In a recent clip released on WWE's Instagram account, the Women's Champion congratulated Chelsea Green on the win. The Role Model noted that Green was a slippery opponent and could easily secure the Money in the Bank contract. Bayley then issued a warning, saying that the Canadian star would face the same fate as her tag team partner, Piper Niven if she targeted her gold.
"Chelsea Green! You did it sister, you did it and the fans wanted to see you do it. I'm so happy for you. You know what, now you're one step closer to winning Money in the Bank. You're one step closer to cashing in on this championship right here. And I got my eye on you, I've had my eye on you for the past two months. I know what you're like. You're a sneaky snake. You had your night tonight. Good luck in Toronto, you're gonna need it. Because if you're coming after me, if you didn't get a glimpse of what I'm capable of when I beat your friend Piper Niven last weekend, well you're really gonna see a different side of me, sister. So, enjoy your night for now."
Bayley recently defeated Piper Niven
The Women's Champion faced tough odds at Clash at the Castle when she stood across the ring from Scotland's own Piper Niven.
Despite the initial dominance from Niven, Bayley fought back hard in the title match. Chelsea Green interfered in the contest to assist her partner, but The Role Model bounced back.
After a lot of back-and-forth, Bayley planted Niven with a huge Crucifix Driver on the mat for the win.
