"Your girl is coming home" - Bayley shares message ahead of WWE SmackDown
Bayley shared a heartfelt message ahead of tonight's edition of WWE SmackDown in South Carolina. The veteran lost a major title match this past Saturday night at WWE Bad Blood.
Ahead of tonight's edition of SmackDown, WWE shared a video featuring Bayley to promote the company's upcoming UK tour. In the video, the 35-year-old noted that the crowd loves to sing to her in the United Kingdom and suggested fans purchase tickets to the upcoming events. The veteran also shared the video on social media and claimed she was coming home.
"UK! Your girl is coming homeee," she wrote.
Nia Jax successfully defended her WWE Women's Championship against Bayley at Bad Blood. The Irresistible Force captured the title from the former leader of Damage CTRL earlier this year at SummerSlam. Tiffany Stratton is currently aligned with Jax on SmackDown but almost decided to cash in her Money in the Bank contract during the match at the Premium Live Event last Saturday.
Former WWE writer criticizes Bayley's new look
Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently criticized Bayley for her new look on SmackDown.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's BroDown with Vince Russo podcast, the legend questioned the SmackDown star's decision to shave the side of her head. Russo wondered how the former champion decided that it would be a good idea in the first place.
"If you're responsible for this, be a man and step up and admit it was your idea. I'm going to be looking in the chat for your responses. Who told Bayley it was a good idea to shave the side of her head? Is there anybody in the chatroom right now who is responsible for telling Bayley that's a good look? Yeah, Bayley, go shave the side of your head; that's a great look for you," Vince Russo said. [16:48 - 17:27]
