Zaria edges closer to winning major WWE championship

Zaria went one-on-one with Wren Sinclair on the latest episode of WWE NXT in the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying Match. This was the second qualifier match to take place on the show.

In the first bout, Stephanie Vaquer defeated Jaida Parker via pinfall after Lola Vice interfered. At Deadline next month, five women will compete in the Iron Survivor Challenge, and the winner will become the #1 contender for Roxanne Perez's NXT Women's Championship.

On this week's NXT, Zaria slammed Wren Sinclair face-first into the mat and hit her with a clothesline in the corner. She then nailed her with a vertical suplex followed by a delayed suplex, which got a two-count.

Wren hit the Aussie star with a dropkick, and the latter tried to go for another suplex, but it was reversed into a cover, which she kicked out of. Charlie Dempsey, who was at ringside, got Zaria's attention, and Wren Sinclair wiped her out with a suicide dive while she was distracted.

In the ring, Wren Sinclair hit a few chops, a clothesline, and a dropkick. However, she got caught with a spear and was on the receiving end of an F5, which resulted in the end of the match. Three women have already qualified for the Iron Survivor Challenge so far, and the Aussie is one of them.
