Zelina Vega shares heartbreaking personal update after WWE RAW

WWE RAW Superstar Zelina Vega shared a heartbreaking personal update on Instagram as she looked back on the September 11, 2001, terror attacks, in which she lost her father. The terror attacks have gone down as one of the darkest days in the history of the United States of America, with countless lives prematurely lost.

The first target of the perpetrators was the World Trade Center. Vega's father was stuck on the 103rd floor of the North Tower. The talented star lost her father when she was just 10 years old.

Today, the WWE star reflected on her loss on the 23rd anniversary of the tragic event. Zelina shared old pictures with her father with a heartbreaking message on Instagram.

''Love you, Dad! I typed and deleted this about 13 times now. But [I] still couldn’t find the words. So I’ll let these photos do the talking," Vega wrote.

Zelina Vega paid tribute to her late father on WWE RAW

Earlier this year, Zelina Vega and the Latino World Order were drafted to Monday Night RAW. After a while, Vega spent time away from the faction and focused on her career as a singles competitor in the women's division.

Later, the Trinidad-born star and Rey Mysterio faced Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio in a Mixed Tag Team Match and lost. This led to both factions going after each other on Monday Night RAW.

However, the 33-year-old had her own business to attend as she feuded with Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville, and Zoey Stark. On the recent edition of WWE RAW, Vega, Lyra Valkyria, and Natalya defeated Pure Fusion Collective.

Before the match, a fan on X spotted a handwritten message on Vega's arm. Later, it was revealed that it was a tribute to her late father. The RAW Superstar reacted to the fan's post and claimed that the legendary Rey Mysterio wrote it for her.

"Best part about that... Rey wrote it for me," Vega wrote.

It'll be interesting to see what Vega does next on Monday Night RAW.
