Nick Aldis to make WWE in-ring debut at Survivor Series vs. 46-year-old veteran's team? Exploring the possibility

WWE Bad Blood 2024 is set to take place in Atlanta, Georgia, on October 5. After Bad Blood, WWE will host Crown Jewel from Saudi Arabia in November. Once that is done, the company will embark on the Road to Survivor Series: WarGames 2024. Last year's edition saw the blockbuster returns of CM Punk and Randy Orton.

This year, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis could step into the squared circle for the first time in the Stamford-based promotion. It could be against another veteran who hasn't stepped into the ring for years. While WWE has staged WarGames Matches at the PLE in recent times, there is a chance the promotion could revert to a traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match between Team RAW and Team SmackDown.

If that's the case, fans may witness Nick Aldis finally step into a WWE ring to compete for his brand. The most intriguing opponent could be RAW General Manager Adam Pearce. The 46-year-old RAW Authority Figure's last in-ring performance came on the March 1, 2021, edition of the Monday Night Show.

The Sports Entertainment juggernaut could feature a traditional five-on-five Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match, involving Aldis and Pearce as in-ring competitors. While nothing is confirmed, and it's just speculation for now, the subtle tensions between the General Managers could eventually conclude at the marquee PLE on November 30, 2024.

WWE General Managers Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce tease a future in-ring battle on social media

Adam Pearce recently responded to a question by a fan about a potential in-ring return for a match against the SmackDown General Manager. The 46-year-old humorously cut off the video before revealing his answer.

Later, Nick Aldis responded to his RAW counterpart on X. The 37-year-old touched on their legacies inside the squared circle outside the Stamford-based company. Aldis also hinted he would be open to the idea in the future. Notably, the SmackDown Authority Figure hasn't officially retired from in-ring competition, so the chances of his in-ring return are decent.

It will be interesting to see if the two veterans step inside the ring in the coming months.
