Nick Aldis to be taken out by ruthless RAW faction on Adam Pearce's orders? Exploring 'official' implications for WWE SmackDown GM
Nick Aldis has been doing a fantastic job as SmackDown's General Manager, and there is no denying it. He has booked some incredible matches over the last few weeks and has managed his roster with an air of professionalism. However, he could be in danger of being taken out by a ruthless RAW faction on the orders of his red brand counterpart, Adam Pearce.
The ruthless RAW faction in question here is The Wyatt Sicks. In case you missed it, there was a massive hint on last night's SmackDown, suggesting that the eerie faction may soon be coming to the blue brand. And, considering this hint, which was their symbol in the background, came during a Nick Aldis segment, many believe that he may be their target.
Now, the question arises, why would The Wyatt Sicks target Nick Aldis, and what does Adam Pearce have to do with all this? Well, over the last few months, Pearce has been heavily criticized for his poor work as General Manager of RAW. On the other hand, Aldis has received nothing but praise, with even Michael Cole acknowledging him as a more competent manager. With that in mind, Pearce, out of jealousy, using his power as an 'official', may order Uncle Howdy and his subordinates to take out Aldis on SmackDown.
It would be quite the twist of events but it would make some sense given that Pearce has turned a deaf ear in the past to Chad Gable, who has complained about The Wyatt Sicks. Perhaps he has worked out some sort of a deal with Howdy that involves attacking Aldis. But, at this point, this is nothing more than speculation.
Nick Aldis confirmed a huge match for Bad Blood last night
Speaking of the segment involving Nick Aldis, it had to do with a huge match he was trying to get booked for WWE Bad Blood. The match in question involves some of SmackDown's biggest talents, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes. And fortunately for him, although he did not have much of a say, he got the papers signed.
Although Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns were averse to the idea, they have signed on the dotted line, confirming that they will team up against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood. It's bound to be an incredible match, as The American Nightmare hopes to be done with The Bloodline, while The Original Tribal Chief looks to take control of it once again.
This match will certainly be one to watch out for. Who will come out on top? Will Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns get their way? Or will Solo Sikoa continue to reign supreme? We will just have to wait and see.
