Bullet Club leader Kenny Omega was in action earlier today at the NJPW 2017 World Tag League finals, as he teamed up with his fellow Elite members Matt and Nick Jackson, The Young Bucks. The trio of Omega and the Jackson brothers faced off against the teen of the current IWGP Jr. Tag Team Champions Sho and Yoh, who teamed up with their fellow Roppongi 3K member Rocky Romero.

The two groups put up a really entertaining match for the Fukuoka crowd, in a match that features some amazing high flying action and was also fast-paced. Roppongi 3K put up a solid performance on the night and Sho and Yoh proved why they are two of the very best junior heavyweights in the current NJPW scene. However, despite RPG 3K putting up a hard-fought performance, it was The Elite who had the last laugh as Kenny Omega pinned Rocky Romero, following a One-Winged Angel.

But, that was not the end of the action for "The Cleaner" who much like the Fukuoka crowd was struck with a huge surprise as Omega's Wrestle Kingdom 12 opponent, Chris Jericho decided to blindside the Bullet Club leader and hit him with a Codebreaker. Upon his arrival in NJPW, the former WWE Champion seemed to be in a really ruthless mode, as he then proceeded to hit Kenny Omega with his IWGP US Championship, which resulted in Omega being busted open.

However, that was not the end of the action as Jericho hit the second Codebreaker on the Bullet Club leader and also targeted NJPW commentator Don Callis, who was also on the receiving end of a Codebreaker. Jericho would finally send a message to Kenny Omega as he stated that "I'll see you at the Tokyo Dome".

Jericho and Omega will now clash at next year's Wrestle Kingdom 12 event at the Tokyo Dome, on 4th January.
