What's the story?

During tonight's G1 Climax 29 show, IWGP United States Champion Jon Moxley took to Twitter and posted a very interesting photo featuring IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada and former WWE Superstar KENTA (Hideo Itami).

In case you didn't know...

Jon Moxley made his New Japan Pro Wrestling debut at the Best of the Super Juniors 2019 defeating Juice Robinson to win the IWGP US Championship in his first match for the promotion.

At Dominion 6.9, Moxley defeated NJPW Young Lion Shota Umino and announced his entry into this year's G1 Climax Tournament. During the same show, former WWE star KENTA (formerly known as Hideo Itami) made his NJPW debut and announced his participation into this year's G1 Climax Tournament.

The heart of the matter

On night nine of the on-going G1 Climax tournament, A Block leader Kazuchika Okada ended the undefeated streak of KENTA by besting the latter in the main event of the show in another instant classic from the G1.

During the match, however, B Block leader Jon Moxley posted a very interesting photo from his Twitter account, as he was seen getting an up-close view of the match between Okada and KENTA.

Moxley's tweet certainly indicated that the 'Death Rider' has his sights set on the A Block leader and is prepared for the finals, as well.

What's next?

Jon Moxley is currently fresh-off a huge win over Shingo Takagi in the G1 Climax, however, for his next match, the IWGP US Champion will collide with another Los Ingobernables de Japon member in the form of current IWGP Intercontinental Champion, Tetsuya Naito.

Mox and Naito will square-off in tomorrow night in Aichi in what promises to be another exciting encounter.

As far as Okada is concerned, the IWGP Heavyweight Champion now firmly sits at the top of A Block with 5 wins in a row, followed by KENTA who has 4 to his name. 'The Rainmaker' will next face Lance Archer in his next match, whereas, KENTA will battle Sanada for his next in the G1.
