NXT: 5 Points to Note (November 23rd, 2016)

SAnitY will play an integral role in the following months

Survivor Series weekend started with NXT Takeover: Toronto, a show that made us proud to be wrestling fans; even during an era that hasn’t been kind to us all. Filmed in Canada, this was the first show after the grand showcase of talent that was Takeover.

As is tradition, with any show after an NXT Takeover, it was mostly a recap of the action that we witnessed earlier this weekend. However, there were some developments during the show; that should play out interestingly in the weeks to come. Simply put, this was the calm before the storm.

With a very ‘hot’ and loud Canadian crowd in attendance, we saw two matches that will definitely advance storylines in the coming NXT episodes. So let’s travel to the Great White North, for the A Show- NXT!


#5 Terrifying heel stable takes over NXT

Be it the singles, tag team or women’s division, SAnitY will play a big role very soon

Except for recaps from the excellent NXT Takeover: Toronto show, all we got to see this week were two matches. And only one of these matches was fought all the way through to the end. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the contest between cruiserweight Rich Swann and Kona Reeves.

The lights would go out, and the insane foursome known as SAnitY would come down to the ring to destroy both participants. Following which, cult leader and TNA original Eric Young would cut a cryptic promo, with his three disciples drooling all around him.

When Rich Swann’s partner No Way Jose would come down to ringside, he too would suffer at the hands of this out-of-control cult; which leads to an interesting development...
