NXT: 5 points to note (September 27, 2017)

This was certainly the best WWE show, all week!
This was certainly the best WWE show, all week!

It started with No Mercy, and continued through RAW and SmackDown Live, all week long. It was a week of disappointments, as nothing worth nothing happened on any of the shows.

Even the much publicized Lesnar vs. Strowman match was a dud. Could NXT save the week from being a total disappointment? We are glad to report that it absolutely did. And how!

There was much to note during this week's episode, but we'll limit it to five points for your convenience. Each of these events should develop into a major storyline or feud, in the weeks ahead, leading up to the next NXT Takeover event in Houston, on Survivor Series weekend.

Here is a rundown of things that we found interesting, and our take on each of those topics. Let us know your thoughts on what transpired this week, and how you think these events will play out, in the comments below.

#5- Debut match and win, Bay Bay!

This felt like a main event, in every sense of the word

SAnitY vs. The Undisputed Era may be the best feud going on in all of the wrestling, right now. There is an air of uncertainty whenever SAnitY is involved, and the same holds true for 'The Undisputed Era', a faction whose intentions are not very clear.

This week we saw a battle between the leaders. Adam Cole vs. Eric Young, two men who've had incredible careers, outside of WWE. As one would expect, the match delivered in every sense.

Of course, with two volatile groups involved, there was a lot of interference that took place, and while Cole picked up the win, he picked it up as the result of a distraction. It is clear that Cole will be wrestling as a heel, in the following months.

We loved the build-up to the match, with SAnitY cutting a promo at the top of the show and The Undisputed Era cutting a promo, right before the match. Adam Cole is a natural on the microphone and should transition seamlessly to the main roster, as well. He's cocky, brash and very arrogant!
