NXT superstar to debut on RAW and attack former two-time champion? Analyzing the chances
WWE's developmental brand, NXT, has done a fine job helping train the next generation of superstars. From Seth Rollins to Ilja Dragunov, the list of talents that have made their name on the white and gold brand is long. Well, the WWE Universe better gear up for the next NXT superstar to make the move up to the main roster, as it could be on next week's episode of RAW, where a former two-time champion may have to deal with some consequences.
The superstar in question is none other than Trick Williams, and his target might be the former NXT UK and NXT Tag Team Champion, Pete Dunne. Williams has had a tough go of things recently, losing his title to Ethan Page. But he may have to turn his attention to "All Ego" a little later because this week's episode proved that he has a bone to pick with The Bruiserweight.
After asking Pete Dunne how to deal with Ethan Page, one would assume that Trick Williams had no beef with him. However, last night it was made clear that things aren't exactly peachy between the two, as Dunne blindsided him from out of nowhere. Williams isn't one to let things slide, so it wouldn't be all that surprising to see him make his official debut on the main roster soon, attacking the former two-time champion on RAW.
Analyzing the possibilities, a debut on RAW at this stage seems unlikely. Trick still has unfinished business with Ethan Page, so perhaps this feud with The Bruiserwight is a test before the final battle. But, you can never say never with WWE, so the fans will just have to wait and see how things unfold.
NXT's The Great American Bash will see a title match featuring two top main roster stars
Pete Dunne isn't the only main roster star who has things to do in NXT. While The Bruiserweight seems to have his sights set on Trick Williams, two of RAW's finest will be coming back to the developmental brand to give out an opportunity. These two stars just happen to be the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, Alba Fyre, and Isla Dawn, The Unholy Union.
WWE recently announced that The Unholy Union will be defending their titles at The Great American Bash. There, they will take on the Meta-Four's Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. It is sure to be a great match and one that puts the spotlight on the women's tag team division, where things are heating up.
It will be interesting to see how the Meta-Four holds up against The Unholy Union. But they aren't the only superstars scheduled to make an appearance at The Great American Bash. Let's just say it's a show that the WWE Universe will not want to miss.
