OG Bloodline's 5th member to quit after Roman Reigns fight; major star fired? 4 surprises that could happen on WWE SmackDown tonight

The upcoming episode of Friday Night SmackDown will be a crucial edition as we are heading closer to the 2024 Survivor Series Premium Live Event. WWE has been working hard to craft a spectacular event for the fans.

Tonight’s edition of the blue brand might be a big night, which would be a significant stepping stone in the way of building this card. In this article, we will take a look at four surprises that could happen from a member leaving OG Bloodline, Nick Aldis firing a major star, and much more.

#4. Nick Aldis could fire former Universal Champion for being unsafe

On last week's episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Cody Rhodes called out Kevin Owens for injuring Randy Orton with a banned Piledriver and crossing the line. Instead, Nick Aldis came out and informed The American Nightmare that Owens was banned from entering the squared circle after what he did to Orton and would not appear before things got solved backstage.

However, Cody Rhodes warned Aldis and the entire management to resolve the situation before he took care of the business in his own way. In the meantime, WWE announced Kevin and Cody would meet face-to-face on the blue brand tonight.

Owens could launch a brutal attack on Cody Rhodes, this time, delivering a 'Piledriver' on The American Nightmare, which could jeopardize the champion’s health, and he could face a similar fate as Orton. Following the attack, Rhodes might be forced to go on a hiatus. This move could enrage Nick Aldis, leading him to fire the 40-year-old.

#3. Fifth member of OG Bloodline might leave after fighting with Roman Reigns

The latest episode of WWE Monday Night RAW saw Seth Rollins turned down the offer to join the OG Bloodline as their fifth member. However, The Usos and Sami Zayn ran out to save Rollins after Solo Sikoa and the new Bloodline cost Seth his match against Bronson Reed.

Meanwhile, Seth Rollins could potentially appear on SmackDown to return the favor and join the OG Bloodline as their fifth member. He could also save the OG Bloodline from Solo’s Bloodline and Reed. This might upset Roman Reigns, and he could have a heated argument with Rollins. With that, the OG Bloodline's potential fifth member might leave the arena after tension with his former faction mate.

#2. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez might cost Bianca Belair her match

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez could once again invade SmackDown and cost Bianca Belair her Triple Threat Qualifying Match for the Women’s United States Championship against Chelsea Green and Blair Davenport in the first-round match.

This attack could fuel further tension between Jade and Bianca as the former RAW Women’s Champion might raise questions about the loyalty of her tag team partner for being unable to help her out.

#1. WWE could announce another title match for Survivor Series 2024

Last week’s edition of WWE SmackDown saw LA Knight getting attacked by returning Shinsuke Nakamura. This week we might see The Megastar addressing the invasion and calling out the former Intercontinental Champion to confront him face-to-face.

However, Shinsuke could again launch another sneak attack on the United States Champion and could clear his intentions that he wants his title. Amid this, Nick Aldis could announce a championship match between these two for Survivor Series WarGames 2024.
