Only one man can stop Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes from defeating The Bloodline
Only one man can stop Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes as they aim to conquer The Bloodline at WWE Bad Blood 2024. That man is none other than The Rock.
The formidable duo of The Original Tribal Chief and The American Nightmare signed a contract a few weeks ago to join forces against the dangerous team of Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. This match could involve a lot of shenanigans, with Sikoa's crew interfering to turn the tides against the babyface duo. However, we might see some familiar faces returning to back up Roman Reigns, with Jimmy Uso and maybe even Jey Uso showing up to lend a hand to his cousin.
With Jimmy or Jey around, Roman Reigns and Rhodes could be close to clinching the victory, but The Final Boss could show up in the last seconds to put it all to rest. The Rock may look to provide a helping hand, but just as Reigns lets his guard down, he might strike the former Universal Champion and his tag team partner to turn the tides in The Bloodline's favor.
Then, The Great One could grab the mic and call on the crowd to acknowledge him as the person behind Sikoa's recent adventures.
The Rock had been eyeing The Tribal Chief position
On the Day 1 episode of Monday Night RAW, the 52-year-old returned to crash a promo from Jinder Mahal. He verbally and physically assaulted Mahal, and after laying him down, The Rock got straight to the point, dropping a huge hint about who he had his sights set on.
He didn't bring up any championships during his speech. Instead, he asked the audience if he should take a seat at the Head of the Table and shared his wish to take back control of his family and legacy, which were both being held tight by the former Big Dog at the time.
The Rock may want to settle the score with Roman Reigns before eyeing the Undisputed WWE Championship
After showing up at WWE RAW Day 1, The Rock made another appearance, this time to step in for Rhodes at WrestleMania XL's main event against Roman Reigns. However, the crowd's negative reaction pushed him to turn heel and join forces with The Original Tribal Chief to torment Rhodes instead.
On an episode of SmackDown, The Brahma Bull was hyping up the crowd with a promo alongside Roman Reigns. Just when he was about to finish with his iconic catchphrase, Reigns grabbed his hand and insisted that the 10-time WWE champion 'acknowledge' him.
Rock hesitated for a moment but eventually went along and recognized Roman as The Tribal Chief. Still, it seemed like he wasn’t really into it. He might have felt it wasn’t the right moment to confront Reigns. But at Bad Blood, he could reveal his true intentions and expose himself as the mastermind behind The Bloodline 2.0.
The Rock warned Cody Rhodes on RAW after WrestleMania 40
In his last appearance, The Rock warned Rhodes that their story was just beginning. There are whispers that The Rock and Cody Rhodes might go head-to-head at WrestleMania 41.
In a recent chat with Pat McAfee, Rhodes got asked about the comeback of "the big guy." A clip popped up online from The Pat McAfee Show where Pat mentioned to Rhodes that he'd heard "the big guy's making his return this week." Rhodes replied with a curious, "Is he?"
The Great One could turn this into reality by showing up on October 5 and taking out the Undisputed WWE Champion. The Rock has already pinned Rhodes on Night One of The Showcase of the Immortals and promised him a rematch, so this could be the ideal way to set that up.
