Opinion: Becky Lynch has cracked the code of modern-day wrestling

You've got to admit that if there is one star in WWE that has cracked the code in recent times, then it has to be Becky Lynch. She's everywhere, always in the news and she has understood the power of social media unlike many of her contemporaries. This claim cements from her recent tweet barrage where she attacked Vince McMahon and the authority.

Becky surely knows how to stay relevant now and she's using it to her utmost advantage. What she's doing right now is something smart, something that many wrestlers would do in the future where they will take their feud out of the WWE Universe and to the social media like Twitter or Instagram. Here, the viewers can have access to them 24*7 as compared to the once in a week interaction on either Raw or SmackDown.

In one of my earlier posts, I'd mentioned how the build-up for the Triple Threat Match between the three leading women(although not yet official) was one of the best that WWE has done in the recent times. One of the prime reasons is the way things have escalated between Ronda and Becky and there's some genuine heat between them. Ronda Rousey has threatened to break kayfabe and there have even been rumors of WWE officials not entirely happy with the expletives laden barrage the two women threw at each other on Twitter.

Admittedly, all the content on display is not suitable for the audience of all ages but after a point, even WWE won't be complaining too much if the hype generated through all this results in great numbers. Becky has seemingly cracked the code for the next step in pro-wrestling and she is, more often than not, proving why she is quickly becoming the biggest name in wrestling.
