Becky Lynch is known for using Twitter to bash and dump insults on her opponents before the eventual encounter in the ring. She has effectively done this against Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair during the build-up to WrestleMania 35.
Recently, the wrestling world was left pleasantly shocked, when Becky Lynch grabbed the second spot on the list of most mentioned athletes on Twitter. Tennis star Serena Williams topped the list, with six WWE athletes being featured in the top ten!

Becky has been using her Twitter account to play with her opponents even before they meet inside the squared circle. This has resulted in Becky steadily garnering a huge fan following over the course of the past few years. This is a major factor in her being named the second most mentioned female athlete in the world on Twitter, but the biggest factor has to be her sudden character change since the past few months.
Becky Lynch was your typical everyday bubbly babyface, but that changed when she turned heel on Charlotte at Summerslam 2018, to a chorus of cheers. Fans had been clamoring for Becky to win the title since ages, and it seemed that her time was on the horizon.

Months later, now we're about to get a triple threat match for the Raw Women's title at WrestleMania, pitting Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch against each other. There's a chance that this match could headline the show of shows, which would be a first in WrestleMania history.
WWE has a huge social media following, surpassing a billion people! Becky's popularity, plus the mainstream attention WWE regularly gets on social media, led to Becky grabbing the coveted spot of the second most mentioned women athlete on Twitter.
