Styles had a magnificent career in Impact Wrestling, and later he joined the WWE and is a two time WWE Champion. Styles was an outstanding champion and there are several reasons for the WWE Universe to regard him as the best WWE Champion ever.

Styles won the WWE Championship twice and held the title for a combined number of 511 days. He was a fighting Champion and never behaved as a part-timer like Brock Lesnar. He headlined several PPVs and did main-event several shows. He even competed in the Mixed Match Challenge. Styles never took things for granted and fought his way to the top.

He has delivered some of the best matches as a WWE Champion in the pro-wrestling industry. He is a unique wrestler with innovative moves. Styles defended his title multiple times against some of the best wrestlers in the WWE today. Styles possesses the potential to convert an ordinary match into a classic competition. His rivalry against Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE title was a treat to watch.

AJ Styles also delivers outstanding promos and knows how to connect with audiences. He was truly a people's champion, who is loved by people from age eight to eighty. Styles' catchphrase, 'SmackDown Live is the house that AJ Styles built', was chanted by the audiences like a religious hymn.

He is a living legend, who brought loads of prestige to the WWE Championship. Styles always puts his body on the line and delivers outstanding moves. He does not believe in giving up and used to go to any extent to defend the title. He broke several records as the WWE Champion and never settled for any shortcuts.

Styles competed both as a face and as a heel when he was the WWE Champion. Both his characters were loved by the WWE fans. This was because Styles had the potential to get involved completely in his on-screen personality. WWE fans were pained when they saw their beloved champion losing the WWE title.

Thus, there is not an iota of doubt, that Styles was an excellent WWE Champion. He is certainly the best champion in the last decade that WWE has produced. Champions will come and go, but there will never be another AJ Styles.
