Opinion: Why It Made Sense For Eric Young To Be Separated From Sanity
Eric young was one of the hottest superstars from TNA to make his way to WWE and start his journey through NXT.
Along with the group SaNiTY which also consisted of Nikki Cross, Alexander Wolfe, and Killian Dain, they were looking to be the next stable to dominate multiple divisions.
However, months following their call-up to the main roster, SmackDown Live, the group barely wrestled and had little television time. Even Cross was separated from the group to start her independent run in the women's division.
Now with this week's Superstar Shake-up, Young is once again a lone wolf on Monday Night RAW. Though the has group split in the mean time, this may be the opportunity he needs to let the audience know that he is a big deal.
His skills in the ring was overshadowed by the groups routine to attack their opponents and in some cases become a free-for-all. He is also the smallest member of the team who would compete from time to time but he would serve as valet for Wolfe and Dain.
Having a singles push will remind fans that he can wrestle and have what it takes to win his first title since being called up to the roster.
Dain recently commented on Young's move to RAW and said he will miss him and Wolfe and wanted to thank fans of the group for their support.
There's no telling what's in the cards for Young after shake-up but RAW is where the top talent get their true chance to shine. Don't be surprise if he decides to step up to Seth Rollins and challenge him for the Universal championship.
If if that's not in the works, the writers can reignite the feud he had with Bobby Roode back in TNA.
The Superstar Shake-up continues tonight on Smackdown Live.
