It's been almost a month since former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey made her return to WWE after the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble match. Since then, many have speculated on what WWE might have in store for Ronda Rousey, due to her star power at the height of her career in UFC. While it seems that many are skeptical about how Rousey will fare in WWE due to her lack of experience in professional wrestling, there's no doubt that bringing in Rousey has definitely generated at least some interest among wrestling fans and MMA fans alike.

With that being said, seeing how the women's division on Raw and SmackDown Live is being booked every week, here are the reasons why Rousey should be booked as a part-time wrestler in WWE.

After the events on Raw last week, it seems that Rousey will be working a program with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H at this year's WrestleMania. One of the main reasons this will be considered one of the most important matches of the PPV, is because of the mystique Rousey brings when she shows up. Since her debut at the Royal Rumble this year, Rousey has only shown up just two times on WWE programming and those appearances were one of the more important segments of the show.

One of the biggest issues with the women's division in the WWE today is the lack of important storylines for these performers. Many of top women's wrestlers such as Sasha Banks and Charlotte usually show up every week on WWE programming, only to find that there's nothing much for them to do. Considering that the women's division usually gets about two segments on Raw and one segment on SmackDown, this doesn't give much time to work with.

There's a reason why Brock Lesnar, who is a part-time wrestler, feels important when he shows up on WWE programming. Being considered one of the biggest stars in WWE, the fanfare surrounding Lesnar is due to the fact that he will most likely be working a high-profile feud due to his limited availability.

Let's say Rousey does end up working a full schedule with WWE. Keep in mind, she doesn't have prior experience with WWE or any other wrestling promotion. And even though she may get better by wrestling on a full-time basis, her flaws in the ring may be exposed to the fans initially. Because of this, the fans could have a tough time taking her seriously when she shows. Rousey showing up on TV every week, being involved only in filler matches with no storylines, isn't a good thing for her character.

With a part-time schedule, Rousey making appearances on Raw or SmackDown would feel much more important due to the star-power Rousey has and this would also ensure that she will be involved in an important segment of the show. Her flaws in the ring would also be less obvious, while she can still continue to train full-time. Plus, the women's division would also feel more important if they were to interact with Rousey, and this would generate fan interest in the division as well.

WWE should be concerned over the booking of Ronda Rousey, since her importance on the show might diminish if she works a full-time schedule. Rousey could potentially play an important factor in the women's division and may be a huge asset to the company if booked properly. A part-time schedule for Rousey could work to her advantage and could not only help her character feel more important, but the rest of the women's division too for that matter.
