Opinion: WWE don't need Charlotte Flair in the Becky Lynch versus Ronda Rousey match at WrestleMania 35

The Becky Lynch versus Ronda Rousey match at WrestleMania 35 is shaping up to be a heated contest.

With the two trading insults towards each other both on television and social media, this is set to be a fight that will tear the house down come WrestleMania.

With how popular Lynch is currently, it seems Rousey could be the heel in this match. She certainly has the characteristics and attitude to become a top heel for this match. There is no way that The Baddest Woman On The Planet would get cheered in a million years over The Man.

Becky has scratched and clawed her way to the top while Rousey has dismantled everybody on the roster and had things handed to her.

One could argue that Rousey has made the whole division look weak and that there are no believable opponents left for her.

However Becky, Charlotte and Asuka are all believable enough to defeat Rousey and have not faced her yet ( with the exception of Charlotte, who lost via DQ at Survivor Series due to a vicious kendo stick assault on Ronda).

Becky has won the Women's Royal Rumble match and deserves to have a one on one match with Rousey at WrestleMania 35.

WWE has been teasing us about inserting Charlotte into the match, which is a real chance if Becky is legitimately injured.

At the moment though it appears that Becky's injury may be a work to tease the fans, although there is a chance it could be real. If so, it's very strange for it to be played out the way it is, unless Becky is trying to prove a point about the company holding people back.

If Becky isn't hurt and she is just trying to prove a point, then it needs to be resolved quickly without turning it into a long storyline.

The fans want to see Rousey and Lynch go at it one on one. Becky was already robbed of the match at last year's Survivor Series thanks to Nia Jax.

Charlotte does have beef with Rousey, however, I don't think it is wise for her to be added to this match just for the sake of management decisions.

Charlotte has done a lot of things in her short career, most of which a lot of women don't get to, including being part of a lot of the 'first-ever' matches for women.

She can be involved in a match at SummerSlam with Rousey, as there is still more matches that need to be done before the Baddest Woman On The Planet leaves.

I believe she will stay around one more year to have these matches against Charlotte, Asuka, Ember, Natalya and a Four Horsewomen feud. After all, Fox wants her as the face of SmackDown by the time October comes around.

Becky has always been in Charlotte's shadow until she snapped at SummerSlam last year. Since then she has completely changed her attitude, and is a legitimate bad-ass in the ring, on the mic and on Twitter.

It's time for Charlotte to take a backseat for a while and let Becky have her moment. Fans can only take some much of having somebody being shoved down their throats as Charlotte has been.

We do understand management want Charlotte as the face of the division but the crowd do not and will not, get behind her for that to work.

They tried at the start of the Charlotte/ Becky feud and it backfired badly. (All the company need to see is, how they got people to react to Roman Reigns because he was too heavily pushed).

Charlotte needs to be presented as a top heel like she naturally is but without receiving so many opportunities, and also not taking the spotlight off other more deserving stars.

She will get her chance at a rematch with Rousey, but Wrestlemania is not the right time. The company could risk upsetting people all over again, just when some may have started to believe in the change

This is a new era and others are supposed to be given more of a chance to shine. Just continue to give Becky the chance she needs WWE, to take the ball and run with it as this feud has already got plenty of momentum and no extra elements need to be involved to carry it.

Allow the magic to unfold naturally between Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch. If the creative focus on getting things right for this feud in the next two months, we should be foaming at the mouth to see it take place. Just don't overexpose Becky or Rousey in the process and it will be a treat to watch.
