Pat McAfee set to leave WWE? Analyzing the reports
Whether he's "Yeeting" on the announce table or wishing Michael Cole a happy birthday, Pat McAfee has become an icon in WWE. As an announcer on Raw, McAfee has risen to new heights in the eyes of the WWE Universe. His playful antics, and sometimes outrageous commentary is always fun to watch and listen to. But, is his time in WWE coming to an end?
The answer to that question is not as simple as you might expect. It seems that Pat McAfee is indeed leaving WWE, but only for a short time. Fans of WWE can relax, as he is expected to return in the future. So, why is he taking a temporary break? It has nothing to do with Uncle Howdy and the Wyatt Sicks, but it is because of his responsibilities as a sports presenter.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Pat McAfee will likely leave WWE to go back to working at ESPN for the upcoming college football season. He will be returning to ESPN's College Gameday as the season approaches. This isn't the first time he has made this switch, as he did the same thing last year.
The report also suggested that there is a chance that the situation could repeat itself this year. But, at this point, nothing is certain. While he could concentrate on his college football duties, there is also a possibility that he will continue to commentate for WWE as well. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
The Wyatt Sicks have taken a particular interest in Pat McAfee
As mentioned earlier, the last few weeks have confirmed that there is a connection between Pat and The Wyatt Sicks. While the details of this connection are still a blur, the group led by Uncle Howdy has taken a particular interest in the former Indianapolis Colts punter. To the point, where it has become just downright creepy.
It all started when the group took over The Pat McAfee Show. While they were not physically present, a number of eerie messages started popping up, suggesting that something was afoot. This was confirmed almost immediately, as the group started sending videotapes addressed to McAfee on Raw.
Week after week now, The Wyatt Sicks have been using McAfee as a medium to get their message out there. It will be interesting to see just how this connection develops further, and if they view McAfee as a friend or as a foe.
