Paul Heyman to be replaced by returning star, major betrayal & more - 4 WWE SummerSlam surprises for The Bloodline

Paul Heyman was removed from The Bloodline several weeks ago on WWE SmackDown. It seems that Solo Sikoa could now be looking for a new heel manager to help his faction move forward out of Roman Reigns' shadow.

There are several options while Sikoa is recruiting, but there is also the possibility that Roman Reigns could make his return at SummerSlam and The Bloodline story could be turned on its head. On the latest edition of SmackDown, Cody Rhodes agreed to defend his title against Solo at the upcoming premium live event in Cleveland, Ohio. The match is expected to be made official soon.

Heading into The Biggest Party of the Summer, here are just four potential shocks for The Bloodline.

#4. Paul Heyman to cost Solo Sikoa at WWE SummerSlam

Paul Heyman appears to have only been left with bumps and bruises following his assault at the hands of The Bloodline after refusing to acknowledge Sikoa as his Tribal Chief. He has since been spotted out in public several times, even though he isn't being used on WWE TV.

The Wiseman could be working with Roman Reigns ahead of his WWE return and will definitely hold a grudge for the way he was treated, it would be karma if he were to show up and cost Solo Sikoa the Undisputed WWE Championship in his possible match against Cody Rhodes.

#3. Roman Reigns to return with Jimmy Uso

Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso are likely to return together but they will be outnumbered with the four men who make up The Bloodline. There will likely be a way for this to become a three-on-three scenario, to allow them to build up a huge Survivor Series encounter in a few months time.

Reigns and Uso were members of The Bloodline ahead of their WrestleMania losses and have since been kicked out, with Sikoa claiming he is the new Tribal Chief and that Reigns would have to take the title from him when he makes his return.

#2. Jacob Fatu to be revealed as a double agent

As noted above, Jacob Fatu is likely a double agent who was sent by Roman Reigns and this could come to light if Reigns and Jimmy Uso make their WWE return at SummerSlam and appear to be outnumbered.

Fatu could then join the faces and make the numbers even with Sikoa and the Tonga brothers up against Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, and Jimmy Uso. Since his debut, there has been something off about Fatu and it could be that he isn't meant to be working with Solo Sikoa.

#1. Paul Heyman to be replaced by Lana

It would be a bold move, but since The Bloodline is currently in need of a Wiseman, there could be a place for CJ Perry (a.k.a Lana) to make her return. While working with Rusev (now known as Miro in AEw), she was an expert in drawing heel heat and had a lot of experience on the mic.

Lana recently left AEW, which opens the door for her to rejoin WWE and would be a surprise addition to The Bloodline if she was chosen to replace Paul Heyman since Solo Sikoa could be going up against the former Wiseman in the coming months so he will need some counsel of his own.
