Paul Heyman to return and reveal 32-year-old WWE star as his new client on SmackDown? Exploring potential twist

For the past few months, Paul Heyman has been absent from WWE. The last time The Wiseman appeared in the Stamford-based promotion was during the June 28, 2024, episode of SmackDown, where Solo Sikoa kicked him out of The Bloodline. However, with Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso potentially coming together to reunite the original Bloodline, there is strong speculation that Heyman will finally make his return to WWE.

In an unexpected twist, it is possible that when Paul returns, he might reveal Jacob Fatu as his newest client on SmackDown. The Samoan Werewolf has been on the rise in WWE since making his debut, and fans are already eyeing him as a future main-event star. So far, the 32-year-old has dominated names like Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and many other top figures.

Aligning with Paul Heyman could be the perfect way to elevate Fatu's status to a singles main event talent. Currently, Jacob is part of Solo Sikoa's Bloodline, but for him to step into the spotlight fully, he needs to break away from the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief.

WWE could use the angle that Heyman and Fatu have secretly been in cahoots for months. Upon his return, The Wiseman would align with Jacob, setting up a potential feud between The Samoan Werewolf and Solo, possibly leading to a match at WrestleMania next year.

This direction of Heyman joining forces with Jacob Fatu would not only be unique but also present a major twist in the ongoing Bloodline Saga. The rationale why Paul might refuse to side with Reigns and the original Bloodline could be that no one was there for him when he needed them the most against the new Bloodline. At Backlash France earlier this year, The Wiseman seemingly pleaded for help from Jey Uso, which was never granted to him.

When Paul Heyman is expected to make his WWE return?

As of now, WWE's upcoming premium live event is Crown Jewel 2024, and Paul Heyman could likely return to the company after the Saudi Arabia show. The reason The Wiseman might join The Bloodline Saga following the PLE is that it will officially kick off the road to the Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 Premium Live Event, potentially setting the stage for a Bloodline Civil War between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa's factions.

The Wiseman's return at Crown Jewel 2024 is only likely if WWE books Roman for the event. Otherwise, Paul Heyman could make his comeback during a weekly episode of SmackDown.
