Paul Heyman's next big thing, top talent to feud with Becky Lynch? - 4 WWE NXT stars who could debut at Crown Jewel 2023

WWE Crown Jewel is rapidly approaching. The Sports Entertainment juggernaut's next premium live event is set to take place on Saturday, November 4th. The show will be held at the Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

So far, five matches have been confirmed for the big show. The main event will see Roman Reigns defending his coveted prize against LA Knight. Seth Rollins will also defend his world title against Drew McIntyre in a highly anticipated bout.

Elsewhere on the card, Cody Rhodes will battle Damian Priest, Logan Paul will clash with Rey Mysterio, and a Fatal 5-Way Match for the Women's World Championship is booked. Still, there may be some more fun, and even some potential surprises planned for the big show.

Specifically, there's a chance that NXT stars could appear. Just over a year ago, Solo Sikoa made his main roster debut at an overseas show in Wales. There's a chance a star will do the same at Crown Jewel. This article will look at four possible candidates to do exactly that.

Below are four WWE NXT stars who could debut at Crown Jewel 2023.

#4. Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch could turn into a full blown feud

Lyra Valkyria is one of the top stars in the WWE NXT women's division. Prior to NXT UK shutting down, the Irish star was seemingly poised to takeover. Now, she's done the same on NXT. Valkyria was highly influenced by her idol Becky Lynch.

The talented Irishwoman's influence from Becky Lynch led her to reaching unimaginable heights, but nobody quite expected what went down on WWE NXT this week. Lyra shockingly defeated The Man for the NXT Women's Championship. Lyra and Lynch then shook hands post-match.

While their bout ended with respect, Becky surely wants the belt back. This could lead the two talented women into a full blown feud, perhaps kicking off properly at Crown Jewel. An impromptu match or a brawl could really add fire to a potential rematch.

#3. Bron Breakker could be Paul Heyman's next big thing

Bron Breakker is an explosive powerhouse who plows down any WWE Superstar who manages to get in his way. When NXT 2.0 launched, he became the instant face of the brand. Since the transition to white & gold, Bron remains a key figure on NXT.

It could be argued that the biggest moment of Bron's career came just a few weeks ago, when WWE held the biggest episode of NXT ever. He interacted with John Cena and The Undertaker on that night, which gave him a tremendous spotlight.

He was also managed by Paul Heyman, and the two seemed to fit together perfectly. Many believe Bron could be Heyman's "next big thing" after the likes of Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, and The Bloodline. At Crown Jewel, Paul could confirm it by bringing Bron into the dominant faction.

#2. Blair Davenport could step up to Rhea Ripley

Blair Davenport is an internationally traveled superstar who has found success everywhere she's competed at. Be it in Japan, the United Kingdom, AEW, NXT UK, or now NXT, she makes sure that enemies of Blair better beware.

The unbelievably talented Blair was last seen on the most recent episode of WWE NXT. At the Halloween Havoc special episode, she defeated Gigi Dolin in a rather physical Lights Out Match.

Many suspect Blair could be moving towards a feud with Lyra Valkyria over the NXT Women's Championship. A fun twist could be to have her instead shockingly assault Rhea Ripley following The Eradicator's Fatal 5-Way Match at Crown Jewel. Provided Rhea wins, it would immediately put The Ripper on notice.

#1. Carmelo Hayes could make a big impact at WWE Crown Jewel 2023

Carmelo Hayes is "Him". The talented superstar has won multiple titles since joining WWE. He first won the NXT Men's Breakout Tournament, and went on to capture the North American Champion. Earlier this year, Melo also captured the NXT Championship.

Lately, Hayes has been involved in a lot of drama. He and his long time friend and partner, Trick Williams, haven't quite gotten along. In fact, Trick was recently found hurt backstage, and many suspect Carmelo was the one who jumped him.

While it remains to be seen who was responsible for the assault on Williams, Carmelo could move up to WWE's main roster before Trick gets back in action. He could show up to Crown Jewel, and either sit in the crowd, or even attack somebody post-match, putting the main roster on notice.
