Penta El Zero Miedo to debut on WWE SmackDown and attack 35-year-old superstar? Chances explored
AEW recently let go of one of its hottest talents in Penta El Zero Miedo. Considering his contract has expired, the Mexican star is officially a free agent, and the possibilities are endless. Fans around the world are already booking his next move, and many would like to see him in WWE. So, could he make his debut on SmackDown and attack a 35-year-old superstar?
The answer to that question is quite possibly a 'Yes!' Penta El Zero Miedo's move to WWE has been rumored for months, and it just feels like the right step for his career. And SmackDown seems like the perfect place for his debut. Once touted as the "land of opportunity," Penta would definitely make a splash there. What's more? He could do so by attacking a fellow luchador, the 35-year-old Andrade.
Andrade has become somewhat of an afterthought on SmackDown. While El Idolo is undoubtedly an incredible talent, he has yet to be thrust into the spotlight. So, perhaps a feud with a Penta El Zero Miedo is what is needed. Not only would it give Andrade a concrete storyline, something he very much deserves, but it would also be a great way of introducing Penta to the WWE Universe.
Andrade and Penta are no strangers to each other. They have exchanged blows in the middle of the ring plenty of times in the past. Hence, that familiarity with each other is there. But at the end of the day, this is nothing more than conjecture, and there is no telling what the future holds.
Penta El Zero Miedo's brother, Rey Fenix, could also be on his way to WWE
The potential signing of Penta El Zero Miedo would be an excellent one for WWE. But perusing through the rumor mill, fans can see that he isn't the only star linked with a potential move to the Stamford-based promotion. Initially, there was speculation that both Penta and his brother, Rey Fenix, collectively known as The Lucha Brothers, would join the Sports Entertainment juggernaut.
Unfortunately, it seems as though such a move has been scuppered. While Penta's contract with AEW has expired, Fenix's deal is still ongoing, as the company extended it by adding injury time. This has led to a lot of tension, with Fenix seemingly taking matters into his own hands and writing a cryptic post on X, alleging "inhumane treatment" in AEW.
Should Penta appear on WWE TV soon, it will be interesting to note how Fenix responds. Fans will also be keeping a close eye on the 33-year-old star and his situation in AEW, should he choose to open up about his cryptic post.
