Plans for Punk vs Lesnar after WrestleMania

The possibility of Undertaker vs Punk for Wrestlemania is becoming bleak even as we speak. Undertaker has committed to wrestle this year, but sources close to the Undertaker suggest that his hip and shoulder have been causing a lot of problems for him lately and hence they do not expect Taker to wrestle this year.

Now that Taker is most probably out of context with regard to WrestleMania, WWE has planned to put Punk either in a match vs Ryback or he will get a spot in The Rock vs John Cena II. Though his role in both these matches will be less intimidating and convincing, I feel Punk will settle for it.

However, after Wrestlemania, Punk has a huge feud coming up. According to WrestlingInc.com, WWE has started plans to put Punk in a feud with Brock Lesnar. Their relationship with Paul Heyman will supposedly be the base for the feud.

I would like both Punk and Lesnar to carry on and face each other as heels, as there are enough faces like Ryback, Sheamus and Del Rio. The lack of monster heels is becoming a problem for WWE as they aren’t able to build up useful feuds between such strong babyfaces. However, with credible support pouring in for this news, all I can say is that we are heading for a blockbuster summer this year.
