Popular figure to return; The Final Boss makes an appearance, & more- 3 massive moments to expect at WWE Bad Blood 2024
WWE will present the Bad Blood Premium Live Event from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, on October 5. This edition of the PLE will mark its return for the first time since 2004, in which Triple H beat Shawn Michaels in a Hell in a Cell Match. The upcoming edition will feature a blockbuster match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre inside The Devil's Playground.
Back then, the PLE provided fans with a lot of excitement, and the upcoming installment is expected to deliver the same. While the card features some of the company's biggest names in action, WWE could also deliver some surprises to further enhance the event.
In this article, we will look at three surprises that could take place at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event:
#3. Paul Heyman could return to WWE TV at Bad Blood
The last time Paul Heyman was seen on WWE programming was on the June 28, 2024, edition of SmackDown. The Hall of Famer was brutally attacked by the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline after he refused to acknowledge The Street Champ as his Tribal Chief.
In a recent interaction with Pat McAfee on The Pat McAfee Show, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes discussed the potential return of a "big guy.''
This ''big guy'' in question could very well be Heyman, who could return after 98 days at Bad Blood to help Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes during the tag team match against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
#2. The Rock could make a shocking appearance
On RAW after WrestleMania 40, The Rock made it clear that his story with Cody Rhodes was not over. While The Final Boss has yet to make an appearance on television since the conclusion of that episode, he could return at Bad Blood this Saturday and take out Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.
By doing so, The People's Champion, who portrayed a negative character on the Road to WrestleMania XL, could align himself with Sikoa's Bloodline. Attacking Rhodes will also present The Rock with the opportunity to challenge The American Nightmare for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
#1. The Rock could issue a challenge after a potential return
On paper, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are favorites to beat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood. Following their potential victory in Atlanta, fans could be treated to a return from The Rock, who could go on to issue a challenge to Roman Reigns.
The Final Boss could challenge the Original Tribal Chief to a WarGames Match at Survivor Series. The Great One could lead The Bloodline 2.0 against The OTC's team.
Based on the storyline, Reigns would most likely align with Jimmy and Jey Uso in such a case. Regardless of what happens in its aftermath, the Bad Blood PLE has the capability of being one of the best events this year.
