Brock Lesnar had defeated The Rock as a rookie to capture the WWE Championship at SummerSlam in 2002

- During a taped interview on RAW this week, Brock Lesnar offered his thoughts on Roman Reigns. He also spoke about his victory over The Rock as a rookie at the 2002 SummerSlam pay-per-view—and sending him to Hollywood. According to The Wrestling Observer, Lesnar mentioning The Rock was specifically placed in the Raw promo as a way to push a match between Brock Lesnar and The Rock at WrestleMania 32.
