Predicting who will be holding all the titles at the end of WWE SummerSlam 2019
We are just a day away from the biggest party of the summer, as WWE SummerSlam will go down on August 11, live from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.
As of now, a total of ten matches have been announced for the show, the highlight of them being the in-ring return of Bray Wyatt as The Fiend to take on Finn Balor. Surprisingly, as many as four titles are not scheduled to be defended on the show. With this being the second biggest PPV of the year, WWE has a huge task to determine who all will walk out of the show with gold around their waists.
In this article, let's predict all the champions that will walk out of SummerSlam 2019 with their hands held high. Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below.
Note: The RAW, SD, and Women's Tag Team Titles along with the Intercontinental Title are not scheduled to be defended on the show. Hence, the champions for those titles would naturally remain the same. Therefore I have not mentioned them in this article.
#6 Cruiserweight Champion: Drew Gulak
Not many of you might be watching 205 live, but the wrestlers have been having some amazing matches on that show lately. Someone like Chad Gable should have, arguably, been in the title picture for the cruiserweight championship at SummerSlam.
Instead, we are getting a match between Oney Lorcan and the current cruiserweight champion, Drew Gulak. No doubt the two are talented, but Gable is a much bigger star and someone who could take the brand to new heights of success.
It's safe to assume that Gulak will retain his title at SummerSlam, let's cross our fingers for Gable be the next challenger for the title.
#5 United States Champion: AJ Styles
The Phenomenal One AJ Styles is one of the few superstars who can deliver both as a heel and a face. The faction of Styles and the Good Brothers (Gallows and Anderson), the OC, has so much potential to become a major part of the WWE programming if used properly.
Ricochet earned the opportunity to challenge Styles for his United States title at SummerSlam after winning a gauntlet match on RAW a few weeks ago. A match involving two top athletes like Styles and Ricochet is sure to be a contender for match of the night.
As for the result, whatever the match might be, expect Styles to walk out as the US Champion, maybe with some help from his brothers.
