Prediction: John Cena vs The Undertaker will begin at the Royal Rumble

Enter ca
A dream match fifteen years in the making

The Main Idea: The Undertaker will cost John Cena the Royal Rumble match, setting up one of the top dream matches in WWE today.

How it's going to go down:

At the Royal Rumble, John Cena will look to make history and become only the second man to win three Rumble matches (the first being Stone Cold Steve Austin back in 2001). He'll come out in his trademark attire, dancing eagerly to a chorus of "John Cena Sucks" chants, courtesy of a rabid Philadelphia crowd.

Upon hitting the ring, the 16-time world champion will showcase the skillset that has won him big match after big match. The impact Cena will have on the Rumble is going to be paramount, but it won't be because he's having his hand raised in victory.

Instead, we as fans are going to witness the moment where John Cena and The Undertaker build towards a monumental clash at WrestleMania 34. Imagine the visual here for a moment.

John Cena is in the middle of the ring, a pile of broken Superstars scattered around him. Sensing an opportunity to end the match, the seasoned veteran tries to will his battered body to toss opponents out left and right. As he moves to do so, a familiar gong echoes throughout the arena, and all of the lights ominously go out. After a brief pause, the lights are restored, and in the center of the ring stands the immortal Undertaker. One chokeslam, one impactful tombstone, and one final victim for WrestleMania's greatest attraction. Rivalry made.

When these two men meet face to face, the level of anticipation will be unlike anything the "New Era" has seen thus far. This is one of the final dream matches that WWE can provide, as both Cena and Undertaker have grown exponentially as performers since their original battle back in 2003.

Along with that, The Undertaker we had at the time was of the American Badass moniker, and not the iconic and intimidating Deadman. In a landscape where rematches are becoming more and more prominent, it's one-time encounters like these that promise to keep viewers young and old on the edge of their seat.
