Pro Wrestling Rumors: Diamond Dallas Page to train Motley Crue singer Vince Neil with DDPY
Among the bigger music news stories of November 2019 has been the announcement of a Motley Crue reunion tour. This North American tour of stadiums is set to include Def Leppard and Poison as part of the package, kicking off in the summer of 2020.
While millions of hard rock fans are undoubtedly happy to see the Crue back in action, many of those fans are concerned about the well-being of singer Vince Neil. Neil has not slowed down his touring in recent years, also popping up on reality television from time to time.
Among those concerned, popular Atlanta, Georgia radio station Rock 100.5 FM recently started up a Change.org petition titled "Get Vince Neil in shape with DDP Yoga.
" As stated by creators Bailey and Southside from Rock 100.5 FM within the petition: "We want Vince Neil to deliver the show of a lifetime! But he needs to get healthy and get in shape first."
Promptly signed by over a thousand people, and also shared on social media by Diamond Dallas Page, the petition is starting to make waves with mainstream media outlets. It was last updated with a November 26th update that DDP himself -- as seen earlier this week working alongside MJF and Wardlow on AEW's flagship program Dynamite -- was willing to partake in this challenge if accepted by Vince Neil himself: "Diamond Dallas Page has agreed to help Vince Neil get in shape for their upcoming tour."
Given that DDP has been instrumental in the life-changing journey of many high-profile entertainers -- including Chris Jericho, Scott Hall, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, AJ Styles, Gabriel Iglesias and Darius Rucker -- one can only assume that this petition from Rock 100.5 FM will be taken seriously by Vince Neil's team. In other words, stay tuned as this one ought to be updated soon via social media.
