R-Truth discusses his prematch ritual, his music and more
Ron Killings, better known as R-Truth has been with the WWE for a long time now. R-Truth has been a mainstay and possesses somewhat of a veteran status now with the current roster.
Truth has never made it to the top but is still considered a great performer and an overall entertaining person. R-Truth appears in comedic segments nowadays and has been used sparsely by the WWE. On his pre-match ritual
He said that it has been somewhat of a routine now that he has been doing this for the last 17 years. He stated that he does the same ritual and listens to music. After a bit of stretching, he said that he cranks up the car and goes for a drive.
“I listen to everything. I’m always listening to some Lil’ Boosie, Wale, Marilyn Manson, Christina Aguilera, Hank Williams, Jr., Shooter Jennings — a wide range of music.”
On his music
He said that his rap music is special and peculiar. He added that his music is inspiring and full of positivity. He said that he wants to inspire people, build hope and make them believe through his music.
On his character vs his self
He said that he is totally different from the character that he plays. R-Truth is a different person from Ron Killings. He added that Truth is always in a mood and he is the go-to person when your are down and low.
“R-Truth and Ron Killings are two different people. You rarely will see R-Truth showing anything. He’s always in that mood. He’s the guy you want to see when you’re going through something because he’s in that mood and has something good to tell you.”
