Randy Orton to get fired from WWE on RAW? Why it could happen
Randy Orton had an intense brawl with Kevin Owens at Crown Jewel 2024. He may have crossed several lines, potentially leading to his unexpected exit from the company on tonight's WWE RAW.
Fans expected to see Randy Orton go up against Kevin Owens in a one-on-one match at Crown Jewel. However, the clash didn't even begin, and the two stars started brawling throughout the arena. However, the duo may have gone out of their way to commit certain actions that aren't allowed in the company and could face a major backlash on WWE RAW.
During the intense brawl, The Viper got frustrated and let his anger get the better of him. He lost control and hit the red brand's General Manager Adam Pearce with an RKO. The moment shocked fans, and it could have consequences Orton might not like.
Adam Pearce could talk with Chief Content Officer Triple H to ensure the 14-time world champion is fired from the company. This harsh step would be justified as The Apex Predator also hit an RKO on SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis last year. This aggressive behavior could get him suspended or even fired from the promotion in kayfabe.
As of now, we can only speculate as nothing regarding an axing is confirmed at this point. The upcoming edition of WWE RAW may answer all these questions.
What if Randy Orton indeed gets fired on WWE RAW?
If the aforementioned speculation comes true on WWE RAW, there will be several ways the storyline could unfold. Randy Orton could be off television for the rest of the year while Kevin Owens could wind up his unfinished business with Cody Rhodes over the Undisputed WWE Championship. He could return around Royal Rumble 2025 to have a WrestleMania 41 match with The Prizefighter.
The Viper could also finally turn heel upon his inevitable comeback to television. He could target Cody Rhodes and the Undisputed WWE Championship, potentially going on to have a WrestleMania 41 battle with his former Legacy stablemate.
A Triple Threat Match between the former allies on the Grandest Stage of Them All is also not out of the question. Only time will tell if any of these storylines could take shape when WrestleMania 41 comes around next year.
