Randy Orton pulled off from WWE Live Event in Long Island
Randy Orton was pulled from tonight's WWE live event at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY. It was announced at the start of the show that Orton would not be appearing. WrestlingINC.com reader Ackbar noted that the announcement stated that Orton was injured at last night's WWE live event at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Orton wrestled his first WWE match since early November at last night's live event at MSG, defeating Kane in a short match. He later made the save in the main event after Kane interfered in the John Cena - Seth Rollins match. Orton was scheduled to team with Cena to face Kane and Rollins at tonight's show.
As noted, Orton was backstage at tonight's live event and was wearing his gear, so it appears that whatever injury he suffered was discovered right before the show. Orton tweeted this photo with a fan backstage earlier tonight:
Great to meet Juan backstage before #WWELI He makes sure I always beat Cena when he plays video games. #smartkid pic.twitter.com/Wb1UKljWY0
