Randy Orton at weekend events, Sgt. Slaughter recalls slamming Andre The Giant, more

Randy Orton advertised for weekend live events

WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter will be signing autographs before the Rutgers basketball game against Purdue this Thursday in Township, NJ. Scarlet Report interviewed Slaughter at this link about the appearance and his ties to the New York / New Jersey area. He also talked about body slamming Andre the Giant during a match in Plainfield, NJ.

"Back then, I was pretty good shape," said Slaughter. "I hit him with a clothesline into the ropes and he came right back at me, and I just barely got him up and I slammed him. I covered him, and he pushed right out at one. I looked down at him and he was laughing at it.

"I don't think anyone every slammed him before. He got right back up and took a shot at me, and I ducked. I picked him up and I slammed him for the second time. Of course, he kicked out again and he beat me."

Randy Orton is advertised for this weekend's WWE live events in Florida at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa on Saturday and the Germain Arena in Fort Myers on Sunday. Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, Kane, The Big Show and Chris Jericho are also advertised for both shows.

Sheamus will be appearing at the Kansas City World of Wheels this Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is located in the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He will be signing autographs, however no posed photo opportunities are allowed. You can get more details at autorama.com.
