Ranking Women's WWE Elimination Chamber 2018 Competitors' Chances of Winning

women's Elimination Chamber match
Lineup of competitors in the first-ever Women's Elimination Chamber match

At Elimination Chamber 2018, we will see the first-ever women's division Elimination Chamber match, featuring Alexa Bliss defending her Raw Women's Championship against Bayley, Mandy Rose, Mickie James, Sasha Banks and Sonya Deville.

The fact that this is happening at all is something to be celebrated in its own right, but despite how the entire company can share in the glory, there will be only one woman who will stand tall and become the actual victor.

This is important not just for the sake of history and statistics, but because the title is on the line and as such, a championship match at the biggest show of the year, WrestleMania 34.

Looking at the field of competitors, how do they fare against each other in terms of their likelihood of winning?

Let's break down the participants and rank them from worst to best and see who stands the best chance at leaving with the title around her waist.

#6 and #5 (TIE) Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose

Absolution
Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose of Absolution

The bottom of the barrel is really a shared spot for the two members of Absolution, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.

Essentially, they're on equal footing, where they have absolutely zero chance of winning this match for a handful of reasons.

First things first, they are the least experienced wrestlers of the bunch and the freshest on the roster, so they can't be trusted to be not only given the championship on a regular basis but certainly not considered important enough to hold that title going into WrestleMania of all shows.

That is simply not going to happen when there are four other options of women who are better suited to handle that responsibility in a much more reliable way.

Another factor is how they're part of a stable, and since Paige is the centerpiece—even with her in-ring career being finished—it would seem strange for one of them to have the title while the other was relegated to second-fiddle.

If Paige were wrestling here, Deville and Rose could have provided a means for her to win the title, but the underlings can't achieve that in their own right.

They may get an elimination of two, but they won't be making it to the finals of this match by any means and are mostly there to fill out the numbers and try not to get pushed aside too much.
