RAW Preview: Champion fined $10,000, possible spoiler for KOTR finals
Welcome to the mid-month edition of WWE RAW Preview! We're hot off the heels from Clash of Champions 2019 and the general consensus was that it wasn't a very great PPV. To no surprise, there were absolutely no complaints about the main event and the way the show ended - because it was simply that fantastic.
WWE has a total of 3 episodes to build to Hell in a Cell 2019 and it's an unusually short period of time to build towards PPVs. Perhaps Hell in a Cell will be filled with rematches, but from the look of things, we'll be getting a couple of rivalries extended while the rest will mostly feature new ones.
Either way, you should be excited about tonight's episode of RAW. Usually, after relatively underwhelming PPVs, WWE delivers big on free television. Plus, with the promise of fresh rivalries, who wouldn't want to tune in? Here is what you need to look forward to on RAW tonight.
#5 The Boss strikes back
The RAW Women's Championship was undoubtedly the second-best match of the night. While the finish did leave a lot to be desired, there's a bit of positivity that comes out of it because we will be getting a rematch between Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch very soon.
The match turned chaotic rather quickly after Becky Lynch accidentally struck the referee with a steel chair. The brawl went to the crowd and then the concession stands before they came back out. Given that there was no referee in the ring, Becky Lynch used the steel chair to assault The Boss before putting her in a dis-arm-her through the chair.
It took multiple referees and a backstage agent to get her off the chair and Becky Lynch has been fined $10,000 for hitting the referee inadvertently. Things are going to take a big twist and turn tonight on RAW and expect Sasha Banks to come raging back with full force.
A motivated and angry Sasha Banks is capable of a lot and that alone puts The Man's title reign in big jeopardy.
